General Notes:
- Dimensions are in millimeters unless otherwise indicated.
- Spade Handles shall be solid with NO openings.
Further Notes:
- Ring Spacer Handles shall have a single through indicator hole near the end of the handle (min. 12 mm diameter).
- Handle thickness (Wt) should be minimum 6 mm or equal to Thickness (t) if less.
- Spades and Ring Spacers should match the material composition of mating flanges per ASME B31.3.
- Use per ASME B16.48 is allowed for installation between ASME B16.5 flanges.
- Customer specs may alter the defined dimensions.
Raised Face Joint Blanks
- ASME B16.48: Gasket seating surface finish must match ASME B16.5. Raised face optional.
- Raised Face adds cost and machining complexity — considered premium.
- Non-raised versions are standard and widely used.
